I want to use my professional and educational experiences to help students with their writing, literature, history, economics, geography, government, social studies, public speaking, English, business, and a multitude of other subjects. I received my degrees from the University of California Los Angeles and Jose State University. I feel that I have the knowledge and expertise to help students reach their full academic potential. I can work with students of all ages and skill levels to develop their critical thinking skills and become independent learners. As a tutor I work to create a laid back, supportive environment in which my students can feel comfortable asking questions and engaging with the subject material. When I am not tutoring I like to stay active by working out, weight training, and running. I'm also an avid golfer. Besides staying active I enjoy stimulating my mind with crossword puzzles and interesting books.
