EducationTulane University - BA, International Relations/ Art History
ExperienceI have an undergraduate degree in international relations and art history with a minor in the French language. I attended the Tulane University in New Orleans to receive my education. I enjoyed getting my education because of the vast amount of classes I had the honor to take. Part of the requirements necessary to graduate involved getting taking two community service classes and I chose both of mine as political science. This allowed me to tutor English to Latin American immigrants. Both the students and I learned a great deal from this experience. My experience includes tutoring students in history and literature. I feel it's important to let the student partake in the classroom as much as possible. Engaging students and letting them discuss their take on a specific subject is ideal. I also ask my students to think of an instance in their lives that may relate to a lesson that is being taught. This helps my students get more of the message I'm working to convey. My hobbies include reading, and I love visiting a museum when I have the time to do so. I enjoy seeing the world and thoroughly love traveling when I have the chance.
